Using photographs I found through Weheartit.com, I created a couple movie posters for two of the books we had read in class, as well as one movie poster for Wuthering Heights, which is by Emily Bronte, the author whom I wrote about for my critical biography.
Since I love art and typography, I thought it would be appropriate to mix my love for digital art with my love for literature. I hope you enjoy these!
I LOVE THEM!
ReplyDeleteThey all have a sort of simple/modern artistic feel without all the glitz and glam you would usually see. I think the fonts for each were very appropriate, and the picture in the background is what really makes each poster stand out. I love the Wuthering Heights poster--it kind of creeps me out...haha, which is what ultimately makes me want to watch the movie!! I also love the silhouette you used for the Frankenstein poster. They were all spot on. (:
This is really cool, i haven't had the chance to look at the website you used to create this yet, but it looks very difficult. I like the fact that you spent so much time on your blogs, many people try and put it off until the last minute and slide by doing the least amount possible. ( I admit, i fall victim to this often.)I think the posters you created look very proffessional. If i didn't know that you created them, i would have thought they were created originally when the movie or book released. Congradulations Jeni, well done!
